- Cadiz have failed to win any of their four home league games this season, failing to score on two occasions
- Real Sociedad have lost only one of their opening nine league matches and are unbeaten in four outings on the road
- Sociedad have won each of their last five La Liga games, scoring 16 goals in the process
La Liga leaders Sociedad can keep up the pace
Cadiz have won four of their five La Liga games on the road but they haven’t enjoyed the same success at their Andalucian base and are worth opposing at home to table-toppers Real Sociedad.
Cadiz have suffered home defeats to Osasuna and Sevilla and been held to draws with Granada and Villarreal in four outings on their own patch this term and another tough test is in store against Sociedad, who top the La Liga charts having lost only one of their first nine assignments.
In fact, Sociedad have won each of their last five league games and they have scored 16 goals in racking up that sequence – an average of 3.2 per game.
Imanol Alguacil’s men are unbeaten in four outings on the road, with them recording emphatic 3-0 wins at Elche and Real Betis and strolling to an equally convincing 4-1 success at Celta Vigo.
That attacking prowess should be too hot for Cadiz to handle and we predict the highflying visitors to win 3-0 – five of their last six league wins have been by a three-goal margin and three have ended that scoreline.
