The biggest slot game releases these days often utilize an exclusive debut with top online casino operators. This gives gaming content developers a helpful sneak peek at how well a game is received in a contained environment. SG Digital decided to go that route with Big Time Gaming’s (BTG) Cyberslot Megaclusters. The game’s exclusive run with top operator LeoVegas started on Dec. 7. The game was released via SG Digital’s OpenGaming Platform. SG Digital is a division of Scientific Games. Its award-winning platform is viewed as a cutting edge industry leader.
LeoVegas Casino Receives Exclusive CyberSlot MegaCluster Slot Game
This is the second installment for Big Time Gaming’s Megaclusters game mechanic. Working through SG Digital’s OpenGaming platform, LeoVegas was a logical choice for the game’s debut.
Indeed, Will Barnes was the first to play the game. Ultimately, this is a fantastic marketing tactic for the rollout. People know him in industry circles for his work with Hideous Slots. Interestingly, there is a link to his Twitch and YouTube followers on Dec. 7. This enabled all of his fans to join in on the fun.
The main premise behind Cyberslot Megaclusters is matching symbols on a grid format. BTG’s first release using the Megaclusters’ game mechanic was Star Clusters. This slot was released over the summer.
Megaclusters is viewed as a natural evolution of BTG’s Megaways game mechanic.
Many of the top game developers have incorporated Megaways into their new games. This has been made possible through a special licensing agreement.
The base game for the new slot consists of three rows and three columns. The symbols are made up of multi-colored planets. Free spins expand the grid to nine rows and nine columns. Megaclusters allows each symbol to form part of a winning combo. This can split into four smaller symbols to create more Megaclusters’ wins.
Combos with smaller symbols explode and shatter. This allows fresh symbols to fall into their place. This continues until all the combos end. The mechanic allows for up to 321 symbols during the free spins round.
The early reviews for this new release have been highly positive. Sources close PlaySlots4RealMoney have given it a 9-out-of-10 via Big Board Win. Part of the reviews label Cyberslot Megaclusters as ‘superb’.
Nick Robinson is the CEO at Big Time Gaming. His comments included:
“Big Time Gaming is committed to using technology to explore new dynamics in online casino gaming. And we feel the Megaclusters engine is taking our slots in a brave new direction.”
Also weighing in on the new release was Johan Ekberg. He is the Group Casino Game’s Manager for LeoVegas. He added:
“Big Time Gaming are proven innovators. And the Megaclusters mechanic is a great example of how gaming can be taken to a whole new level when you think outside the box. It’s a great honor to have the initial exclusive on Cyberslot Megaclusters. And we know our players will go wild for it.
Compliments were also given to the OpenGaming team at SG Digital for the successful rollout.
