Online gambling technology provider EveryMatrix has submitted a license application with the New Jersey Division of Gaming Enforcement as it looks to tap into the US digital gaming market, the company itself confirmed last week.
When the company obtains the necessary license, it will be able to supply its operator partners with its iGaming integration platform and casino content aggregator CasinoEngline.
The company said that is has been working closely with online gambling operators that are looking to expand into new regulated jurisdictions, and in a bid to seize the tremendous opportunity the US iGaming space creates, it has decided to apply for a license and enter the fast-growing New Jersey online gaming market.
New Jersey regulated its market in 2013. Late last year, the state’s online casinos passed the $1 billion mark in overall gross gaming revenue since regulation.
The Garden State is the first of several states EveryMatrix has been eyeing and planning to expand into. The company announced earlier this year that CasinoEngine will be the leading product for its ongoing US expansion after the iGaming integration platform and aggregator has enjoyed “massive success” across a number of European markets.
EveryMatrix Looks to Support New Jersey Operators’ Continued Growth
Commenting on filing a license application in New Jersey, Erik Nyman, President EveryMatrix Americas LLC, said that they are very pleased to are now awaiting regulatory green light in their first US state.
Mr. Nyman went on that the Garden State has enjoyed great success and “exceptional development” over the last seven years and that this is a “testament of the solid regulatory framework based on player protection, business stability and growth.”
Of their plans in New Jersey, Mr. Nyman said that EveryMatrix is entering the local market in the middle of an “expansive phase” where its products will be able to support the continued growth of locally licensed online gambling operators as well as of operators licensed in other states as the company expands its US foothold in the coming years.
Mr. Nyman stepped in as President of EveryMatrix’s US business in August. The seasoned industry executive brought with him a wealth of experience spanning over a decade. He is specialized in new market entries and strategic partnerships and played a pivotal role in NetEnt’s entry into the regulated US market several years ago. Mr. Nyman is now leading EveryMatrix’s US expansion campaign.
EveryMatrix is currently licensed and regulated by the Malta Gaming Authority, the UK Gambling Commission, and the Romanian National Gambling Office, which means that its products are available in some of Europe’s largest regulated gambling markets.
