Issues Of Connecticut Sports-Betting and iGaming
Recently, Governor Ned Lamont reported a deal had been reached between the State of Connecticut and the Mohegan Tribe concerning sports-betting. Foxwoods chairman, Rodney Butler, insisted the Pequots needed more time to discuss financial numbers that the tribe depends on for education and care of the tribe. As a matter of fact, Butler insisted it was disrespectful to come to such an agreement without the Pequots. More will be reported in the coming days.
Amidst the state’s issues, Foxwoods and the Mashantucket Pequots continue to push towards normalcy and bring back one of the nation’s top destination casino resorts.
