Illinois DHS To Conduct Statewide Gambling Study

(Chicago, IL) — The Illinois Department of Human services is conducting a statewide gambling study. The state DHS announced the study Friday, which will focus on gambling, gambling addiction, and support services needs in the state. Results will be used by the department to devise future plans for preventing gambling addiction and increasing access to treatment and services. The study is being funded by state gambling tax revenue and budgeted money.
