- Nashville have won three of their last four home league games
- Both teams have scored in six of Houston’s last seven away league matches
- Houston’s eight away games this term have featured 31 goals
Nashville can make the most of home advantage
Nashville are starting to find their feet in the MLS, particularly on home soil, and they can record a fourth win in five outings at the Nissan Stadium against Houston Dynamo.
The visitors have struggled on the move this season, winning only one of their eight road trips. In fact, Dynamo have lost 19 of their last 24 away games and are often worth opposing on their travels.
However, goals are rarely in short supply when Tab Ramos’ visitors are in action. Houston’s eight away games this term have featured 31 goals – an average of 3.875 per game – and both teams have scored in six of their last seven road fixtures.
Nashville collected only four points from their opening six MLS fixtures this season but they have lost only one of their six games since and are clearly developing as a unit with more playing time under their belt.
Houston have lost four of their last ten away league games by a 2-1 scoreline and we predict a similar outcome here.
