As more postponements continue in the NBA, we are hard pressed to find a full night of basketball in our favor. Fortunately we have an Eastern Conference matchup coming our way when the Chicago Bulls visit the Charlotte Hornets.
These two teams have certainly exceeded expectations to start the season, and they both have a lot of offensive firepower to their name.
We are looking at a high scoring game here with excellent guard play from both sides, so let’s break down the matchup and determine your best bets.
Chicago Bulls Betting Preview: Some of the Best Assets in the League
If we were looking at Chicago before the season started, there are a number of young players who had yet to make their mark in the NBA.
Zach Lavine was their leader, and while he had a good scoring year last season, experts found it hard to believe he could continue that success.
After a slow start, Lavine has come alive and looks like one of the best offensive guards in the entire Eastern Conference.
He should be set up nicely to have a big game here, and with the way Lauri Markkanen and Wendall Carter Jr. are coming along they have a foundation laid for the future.
Patrick Williams looks like he has the tools to be a valuable role player in this league for a long time. He can guard the opponent’s best forward any given night.
The Bulls as a team matchup well with the Hornets, who lack in the front court. Look for Markkanen to put some points up in this game.
Charlotte Hornets Betting Preview: Ball Season
I think lots of people are now waiting for the point where LaMelo Ball takes the starting role from Devonte’ Graham.
Graham has regressed significantly with the new additions of Gordon Hayward and Ball to this roster, and has not gelled well with a lesser role.
His shooting percentage is abysmal, and Ball is only getting better.
The combination of Rozier and Hayward has been electric, and Hayward has re-established himself as a top 30 guy in this league.
I love the way this team is looking: they are fearless and they are extremely well coached.
Hayward might struggle with Williams defending him, but that will leave more room for Rozier and Graham to get their buckets.
Bulls @ Hornets Betting Odds and Lines
Our friends at MyBookie have the Charlotte Hornets favored at home in this one by a clip of -3.5.
Drawing the home matchup for this contest, the Hornets have every reason to be favored. Both teams have been better than we expected, but neither are near the top of the conference.

I really like the Bulls in this one on the road. Zach Lavine has been on a tear and I reckon he will have 35+ points in this game.
On the backs of Lavine, I would put your money on Chicago for this game. It will be a close one but the Bulls will pull it out in the end.
