California bred 2-year-old maidens go five furlongs. No. 3 Eagle in the Sky took some good action in his first start when finishing second. No. 5 Good With People is a first-time starter out of the dam Gator Prowl who has dropped four winners from four starters, including three stakes winners. He worked a bullet here on July 8th. No. 7 Big Fish finished second in his first start when well-bet. 5**-3-7 

Race 2 

$40K claimers travel 1 1/16 miles on the grass. No. 2 Kazan gets Umberto Rispilo back on today and he was on this gelding for the win one race back. No. 8 Dubby Dubbie is in from Florida and has dangerous early speed. 2***-8 

Race 3 

$50K starter allowance fillies and mares go six furlongs. Trainer Brad Cox ships in the sharp No. 4 Jewel Thief looking for the bonus ship-and-win cash. We will use her as a solid single in the picks. 4*** 

Race 4 

California bred maidens go five furlongs on the grass. No. 10 Stir the Pot lost his best chance at the break last out. Look for better today with a good break. No. 1 Master Ryan is back from Churchill Downs and moves back in with California breds. Jockey Abel Cedillo rides and that could be the answer. 1-10 

Race 5 

$20K maidens go 5 1/2 furlongs. No. 2 Street Image comes off of back-to-back good seconds at this level. No. 3 Street Behavior will wake up with the big class drop. 2-3 

Race 6 

The one mile turf $65K Osunitas for fillies and mares. No. 1 Super Patriot looks spotted for action after her win last out in the one mile turf Frans Valentine. No. 4 Meal Ticket is back to the place of her last win. No. 5 Desert Oasis will appreciate getting back to a mile grass race. 1-4-5 

Race 7 

California bred 2-year-old maidens go five furlongs. No. 3 Tacoflavoredkisses had a big work here on July 5th. No. 6 What’s Up Surfer also had a big work here on July 3rd. 3-6 

Race 8 

$80K optional 3-year-old fillies travel 1 1/16 miles on the grass. No. 2 Carpe Vinum was close last out in the China Doll. No. 11 Beguiled at 15-1 looks live in this spot. 2-11 

Race 9 

$62,500 optional claimers go six furlongs. No. 4 P R Radio Star is in from Churchill Downs and gets his first start off the Phil D’Amato claim. He worked good here at Del Mar on July 4th. No. 3 Blameitonthelaw is a two-time winner here. 4-3 

Race 10 

California bred $20K optional claimers travel a flat mile on the grass. No. 1 Unusually Handsome fines a good spot off the maiden win. No. 10 Sea of Liberty will sit chilly off the hot pace and make one late run. No. 12 Fly the Sky is the price play in here. 1-10-12
