WAYNE — A Wanaque woman robbed another woman with a knife and struck her in the face with a glass bottle in a hotel room skirmish that ended with three suspects sent to jail, authorities said.
Police did not disclose what incited the attack by Erin Dockray, 41, but she was charged with four counts of weapons possession; criminal restraint; and robbery, with infliction of bodily harm.
Dockray was arrested when a patrolman saw commotion at Days Inn by Wyndham, at 1850 Route 23 north, at 7:45 a.m. on a recent Thursday, said Detective Capt. Daniel Daly.
Two men and a woman, later identified as the robbery victim, were shouting at each other in the hotel parking lot, the captain said.
The woman, who was crying with dried blood on her lip, named Dockray as her assailant, Daly said.
As other officers arrived for backup, one of the men in the parking lot, Frank Mandeville, 30, of Netcong, was arrested and charged with possession of syringes, Daly said.
A second arrest was made at the Kohl’s department store, at 1800 Route 23 north, where an officer saw Nicholas Aguilar, 25, of Passaic, carrying a knife and heroin in the parking lot, the captain said.

Aguilar was believed to be in the hotel room when the attack occurred, Daly said.
Dockray was not apprehended until a public works employee saw her sitting on a nearby curb and notified police, the captain said.
All three suspects were wanted for crimes, ranging from child neglect to probation violation. They were held in Passaic County Jail, pending court dates.
